SAM PERO

Sam started working at the family bakery “Fortuna Bakery” at the age of 8 years old, helping his Dad, Francesco Pero, starting early mornings at 4 am. Sam left the baking industry to pursue a different career. In September 2001, and 15 years later, he returned back to his roots in the family business as a baker in Port Moody at “Casa Del Pane”, where he learned & refined his skills along side his Dad and brother  Paolo Pero.

Sam, Danny, and  Paolo, purchased “Italia Bakery” from Mario & Lina Toteda in 2005, Sam took full ownership in November 2006. Since them Sam Pero and his staff have continued to create, develop and bake top quality traditional Italian products.
